On Saturday June the 16th, 4 of the members of the Ghana service trip, including the group leader, Saniya Bloomer, spent an afternoon in Frankfurt, Germany; a short stop on their journey to Ghana. Despite little sleep on the 12 hour flight, the beautiful weather and attractive scenenery in Frankfurt swayed us, and we went on a short walk and ate dinner out. The central part of the city was picturesque and quaint with old cathedrals and old fashioned homes. A variety of people filled the narrow streets as we ate pizzas for dinner. On Sunday, we will continue on to Ghana, but remember our short, but exciting stop-over in Europe.
